Data Centers and Flock Surveillance are not abstract threats to San Francisco, they are here and they need to be stopped!

Michael is the best person for the job

Michael is a tech patent attorney, with a focus on artificial intelligence. Michael knows the ins and outs of technology and the big tech companies behind it. That makes Michael the best person for the job of making sure we’re protected from data centers and Flock surveillance in our city.

Data Centers

Data centers are an existential threat to our environment and our city. The SF Standard reported that the city of San Francisco doesn’t even know how many data centers there are in the city. A lot of people think that data centers are an abstract threat, and might not even know that we already have at least 6 here in San Francisco. Michael supports Supervisor Shamann Walton’s moratorium on data centers. We need to ban data centers, and he will push for that on the Board of Supervisors.

Flock Surveillance

Flock cameras have no place in our city. Flock wants to create a total surveillance state, which violates all of our civil liberties and put immigrants and LGBTQ+ folks in danger. This is a very real threat; there were more than a million illegal searches from out-of-state agencies of Flock data between August 2024 and February 2025. These agencies almost certainly include ICE. Our city is a sanctuary city, but we cannot call ourselves that if we’re allowing ICE to access our data. San Francisco and District 8 need to be a safe space for EVERYONE.

Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.
